Quick answer

A ROB RUN party is up to 3 players (Kefir); bigger groups use a clan (up to 100, on one server). You can only invite on the global map or inside a settlement, not from some locations, and not a player who's in a clan conflict. If your friend is on another server, Kefir's route is: world map → prison → Surrender to Feds → switch to your friend's server — you lose what you own on your old one, so do it early. In launch week some players reported 3-player parties and duos failing to enter Looty Bay together; no official fix yet.

How to invite a friend

Go to the global map or into a settlement — inviting isn’t possible from some locations.
Send the party invite. You can’t invite a player who’s taking part in a clan conflict.
A party holds at most 3 people.

“Your friend is on another server”

Each server is a state, and the only way across is through prison. Kefir’s help center:

Open the world map and choose the prison.
Select Surrender to Feds.
Once inside, switch to your friend’s server, then invite again.

The game warns you first: your property in the old state is confiscated, your progress there is lost, you leave your clan and unclaimed mail rewards are gone. So pick a server together before anyone builds. A fresh server is the easiest meeting point — EU at 5 PM UTC, East US at 8 PM ET, every day (how to change servers).

Launch-week party bugs ⚠️

3-player parties and some duos couldn’t enter Looty Bay together (several Steam threads, Nov 7–8). No official fix or workaround yet — we’ll add one when Kefir or enough players confirm it.
These reports came during the server attacks, so some of it may be the servers — check server status and not loading / stuck first.

Playing together well

One car, three bags: loot only counts once it leaves Looty Bay, so a party can carry far more out in one run (heists).
Share a settlement: rent plots next to each other in the same settlement; you can move your whole base later to join friends (bases).

How many players can be in a ROB RUN party?

Three. Kefir: 'you can assemble a party of up to three people. And if you have more friends, we've got a clans/guilds system.'

How do I invite a friend in ROB RUN?

Open the party menu while you're on the global map or inside a settlement — inviting doesn't work from some locations, and you can't invite someone who's taking part in a clan conflict (robrun.info, from game data).

It says my friend is on another server — what now?

Kefir's help center: open the world map, choose the prison, select Surrender to Feds, and once inside switch to your friend's server; then send the invite again. You lose your property, clan and progress on the old server, so do it before you build anything.

Can I play ROB RUN solo?
