Selling loot in ROB RUN: the fence, the smuggler van and cargo

Quick answer

Sell normal loot to the fence (the $ icon on the map) — you must be masked, so fences get camped. Sell bulky cargo (crates, safes, suitcases, statues) to the smuggler's van in the covered car parks, or open it at your own cargo workbench, which pays more since the Nov 5 balance patch. Settlement residents can also sell at their district's Sales Center for better prices. Pick up the cash pile right after a sale or someone else will.

Where do I sell stolen stuff in ROB RUN?

At a fence — the dollar icons on the Looty Bay map. You have to be a criminal (masked) to trade, so approach carefully and mask up inside your car.

Where is the smuggler in ROB RUN?

Players describe smuggler vans inside Looty Bay's covered car parks. They buy cargo (crates, safes, bags) without you opening it. Cops can briefly seal a car park's entrance; players say there's a ramp on the roof to escape.

What do I do with cargo?

Either sell it unopened to the smuggler (quick money) or take it home and open it at a cargo workbench (more money, but it takes a while). A van carries about 6 cargo, a car 2 ⚠️. Drawing a gun makes you drop cargo you're holding.

Why do I keep getting killed at the fence?

Everyone — including cops — knows where fences are, and you must be masked to sell, so they're popular ambush spots. Scout as a civilian first, sell fast, and grab the cash pile immediately.
